Education

At the Department of History, Stockholm University, we offer a wide variety of introductory and advanced courses that will challenge any undergraduate and graduate student.

Each term around 750 students attend our courses, and at present some 40 PhD students are doing their scientific research studies in a wide range of fields.

Besides courses in history the department offers a second cycle course in archival science, the Cultural Studies Program, five programs i history at first and second cycle, and a four-year PhD program in history.

There are around 40 members of staff engaged in teaching.
