Conference on Persistent Piracy. Historical Perspectives on Maritime Violence and State Formation

Stockholm, Sweden, 3–5 May 2012

The Conference on Persistent Piracy is convened by Leos Müller, professor in maritime history, Stockholm University, and Stefan Eklöf Amirell, senior Marie Curie research fellow, École des hautes études en sciences sociales, Paris. It is organized jointly by the Centre for Maritime Studies (CEMAS), Stockholm University, and the Swedish Institute of International Affairs, Stockholm, supported by a grant from Riksbankens Jubileumsfond.
